India’s first 5G training labs and 5G applications in the health sector have been launched in all the eight North Eastern States. The project is centrally funded through North East Council (NEC) and being implemented by Assam Electronic Development Corporation (AMTRON), a PSU of Assam government.

Arunachal Pradesh’s Yak Churpi has received the Geographical Indication (GI) tag. It is a naturally fermented dairy product crafted from the milk of yaks. India’s 54th Tiger Reserve, the Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve, was established in Madhya Pradesh in 2023. It is the seventh tiger reserve in the state.
